Programs Available:
Medical Assistance
Nationally called Medicaid, this program pays for
necessary medical care for low-income families, children, pregnant women,
people over 65, and people with disabilities.
General Assistance Medical Care
Pays for medical care for low-income Minnesotans who don't
qualify for Medicaid or other state and federal health care programs -
primarily low-income adults between the ages 21 and 64 who do not have
dependent children.
